Security

The large glazed areas and the curved windshield provide the driver with exceptional visibility. Rear visibility is also excellent, as the visibility-optimized counterweight reduces the blind spot at the rear of the vehicle. Furthermore, the driver's cab is precisely centered and positioned forward. The seat monitoring system locks the hydraulic working and travel systems when the driver is not seated in the vehicle. When the heavy-duty truck is reversing, a loud warning tone (85 dB) alerts pedestrians and other drivers.

Ergonomics

One of the objectives during the development of this heavy-duty forklift was to design an ergonomic workstation. Therefore, for example, the driver's cab is isolated from the chassis and engine by several rubber bushings, minimizing the transmission of shocks and vibrations to the driver. Other features that ensure the ergonomics of the driver's position include the height-adjustable armrest and steering column, as well as the hydraulically adjustable seat. Thanks to short pedal travel, Linde's dual-pedal control system facilitates daily work and prevents fatigue.

Handling

The H100 – H180 D internal combustion engine forklifts operate on the "power on demand" principle: the engine speed is regulated according to the required force. This ensures the engine always operates in its most efficient range, saving fuel. Linde's stepless hydrostatic transmission allows the operator to accelerate the vehicle without using the clutch or shifting gears, thus increasing load handling performance. Furthermore, the forklift automatically stops as soon as the operator releases the travel pedals. Linde Load Control, in turn, allows for precise adjustment of any lifting height and fork position.

Service

Linde's hydrostatic direct drive is not only wear-free, but also eliminates the need for a gearbox, clutch, differential, and drum brakes. This substantially reduces vehicle service costs. The side-mounted service box streamlines maintenance tasks: the mechanic has direct access to various filters, batteries, windshield washer fluid reservoirs, and diagnostic connectors. For work in the engine compartment, the driver's cab is tilted laterally using an electro-hydraulic pump.
