The design of the H35–H50 forklifts, with their asymmetrical and streamlined mast profiles, narrow A-pillar, spacious and bright cab, and lowered front panel, provides excellent all-around visibility, enabling safe operation and preventing fatigue. To optimize upward visibility, the overhead guard is equipped with ultra-thin crossbeams or an optional armored glass roof. The forklift's low center of gravity and high-mounted steering axle enhance safety against tipping on curves. The standard Linde Curve Assist system reduces the forklift's speed when cornering, depending on the steering input, while Linde Load Assist reduces the risk of rollover accidents and load shifting. Furthermore, the forklifts can be equipped with the latest lighting and warning solutions: LED Stripes, Linde Vertical Light, Linde TruckSpot, and Linde BlueSpot™, as well as the Linde Safety Pilot and Linde Safety Guard assistance systems.

Ergonomics

The H35–H50 forklifts incorporate an ergonomic and intuitively organized operating concept that increases both operator and machine productivity. Minimal movement is required to operate the steering wheel, dual pedals, and levers of the Linde Load Control integrated into the armrest, thus preventing operator fatigue. The design and feel of all controls rival automotive industry standards. To prevent bumps and vibrations from being transmitted to the operator, the drive and steering axles, as well as the mast, are decoupled from the frame and chassis using rubber bearings. Optional equipment such as air suspension, lumbar support, seat heating, and seat ventilation provide added comfort. The 3.5-inch display shows the operator important forklift information at a glance. A 7-inch display integrated into the forklift is available as an option, which can be used, for example, for a mast or reversing camera.

Handling

The combination of hydrostatic drive and a robust industrial engine delivers precisely the power required for every working situation. This increases productivity and availability while minimizing fuel consumption, maintenance effort, and operating costs. Combined with the ergonomic design and optimized all-around visibility, the Linde Load Control system, with its dual foot pedals and joysticks, enables quick and precise control of all travel and mast movements. The mast profiles and tilt cylinders in the overhead guard ensure high residual load capacities at high lifting heights, as well as torsional stability. Frequently used functions can be optionally grouped using freely assignable pushbuttons on the armrest.

Service

The H35–H50 forklifts are characterized by their robust design and numerous maintenance-free components, such as the hydrostatic drive system and lubrication-free tilt cylinders. This ensures high availability coupled with low operating costs. Hydraulic oil changes can be postponed for up to 6,000 operating hours, and thanks to the maintenance-free industrial engine gears, there is no need to replace the timing belt, as is the case with automotive engines. The Linde Engine Protection System (LEPS) monitors important engine parameters to provide added protection against damage. It warns the operator in case of imminent overload and limits the forklift to ultra-slow travel. Thanks to the transverse engine mounting, the maintenance openings are particularly generous. This facilitates access to and replacement of components requiring maintenance. Furthermore, the mostly unified bolted connections significantly reduce the time required for repair and maintenance work.
